Action for Burns & Children is a UK-based fundraising organisation dedicated to the prevention of burn and scald injuries and the rehabilitation of seriously burned young people.
Donate today through Just Giving
Please help to reduce the long-term suffering of children who have been badly burnt or traumatised by the horrors of fire. Help us reach £500,000 for child burns victims.
DonateWe raise money to support organisations that deliver safety awareness campaigns and provide care and treatment for child burn survivors.
Our main focus is the provision of support for the Phoenix Burns Project in South Africa. Social and housing conditions in the country lead to many burns accidents, many of which could be avoided with improved safety awareness. Victims very often need extensive medical intensive care, treatment and rehabilitation, while families often need support through difficult times.
We raise money through direct donations and various fund-raising events and our annual sponsored Bike and Hike Challenge along the Garden Route to Cape Town in South Africa.
Founded in 2008 by the London-based International executive search firm Cripps Sears & Partners with the goal of raising funds for good causes. We are proud to enjoy the support of England and British Lions rugby player James Haskell, as well as numerous volunteers and fundraisers worldwide.
Since its formation, more than £275,000 has been raised to help prevent burns and scalds and deliver care for those affected. Our aim is to match and better this figure in the coming years.
